Kantion, part of Gustavia Ltd, is a young company in the UK, but the founders have more than 25 years of property experience with coastal developments on the Flemish coast in Belgium and other main cities in Flanders (Belgium), Holland, France, Germany, Slovak Republic, Romania, Japan and Hong Kong. Olivier has been active in property since 1995. After his university studies in Antwerp (Belgium) he started working for Jones Lang Lasalle in commercial real estate in Brussels and London.

In 2001 he started his own property company specialising in real estate investments and developments.

Olivier has been acquiring and developing various types of properties in Belgium, Germany and Central Europe between 2001 and 2008.

After the financial crisis of 2008 he decided to only focus on local residential developments along the Belgian coast, Antwerp, Gent and Brussels.  Back to basics and local knowledge in times of crisis.

In the last 12 years he developed a large number of coastal units and inland developments in Belgium, Holland and France. These developments vary from residential to offices, retail, nursing homes and industrial.

In 2015 Olivier decided to expand into the UK and to specialise on developments in London and Kent.  However, Brexit slowed his expansion down.

It was beginning of 2019 that Olivier decided to focus on the South East Coast of England.  Especially Olivier’s large experience with coastal developments on the Flemish coast of Belgium attracted him to the English coast and more in particular Folkestone where he discovered the same potential as in his hometown in Flanders, which is a beachside resort called Knokke-Heist.
